Traffic, Sales Up At Fall Market

Business Booms For IHFC Exhibitors
"The reaction to the Nickelodeon and Jessica McClintock lines has been remarkable. Business has exceeded our expectation on both the Lea and American Drew sides," Richardson continued. "It just proves that if you bring something unique and fresh to market, retailers will respond."

"We saw triple the traffic and people are buying," said Steven R. Mageland of Comfort Solutions. A new IHFC exhibitor, Comfort Solutions' showroom on the Fifth Floor of Main Wing was a hive of activity, reflecting the IHFC's commitment to the bedding category. The response has convinced Mageland of the importance of High Point Market. "We will be looking to expand our showroom next year," he said. "With the help of Julie Messner and the IHFC, this has proven to be a great partnership between the Bedding Industry and High Point, and IHFC in particular."

The praise and optimism continued throughout the IHFC, including the Pavilions on Main Three where Bryan Edwards of Uncommon Radiance experienced his first Market at the IHFC. “This has exceeded all expectations. The promotions and seemingly endless signage for the 3rd Floor Pavilion produced successes in contacts and sales alike," he said. "We could not be more pleased. This is the first time  it truly felt like a team effort. Our reps, our new and existing clients and even the neighboring exhibitors found a very well received boost of positive energy."

On the Twelfth Floor of the IHFC's Design Center, North Carolina-based Leather Italia enjoyed its first Market at the IHFC. "Our traffic has been great, we have seen all of our top accounts" said Mike Campbell, President. "We are very happy to be in the premium location for market."
