Drayton Hall Launching Big At The IHFC; Aberdeen Returns To Market
A new company, Drayton Hall Furniture, Inc., will debut bedroom groups, formal and casual dining groups, occasional table groups, upholstery and leather groups and accent chairs this October at the IHFC in the Main Wing, space M635. There will also be eight groups of outdoor furniture and six groups of metal and glass.

With all of its manufacturing off shore, Drayton Hall will initially focus on direct containers. “However”, a company spokesperson said, “the company plans a California warehouse in the very near future.” In addition, "we are going to offer very aggressive dating for customers — sixty days; that and our price points which are mid- to mid-high, make us a very attractive choice."

After being under the radar for a while, Aberdeen Furniture returns to Market with a broad assortment of bedroom, occasional tables and dining groups. Owner Harvey Weng, who started Aberdeen several years ago and has been in business since 1976, has brought in new talent to reinvigorate the company and develop new product. "We have three designers who have helped us with these introductions. For market there will be fifteen bedroom groups, five occasional table groups and six casual dining groups. All of our product has very nice veneers in cherry, mahogany and oak. With starting price points of $325 for five-piece group up to $925, we cover everything from commodity to the higher end."

All products come out of Vietnam and Malaysia and the company maintains an Atlanta warehouse to ship to smaller accounts. A California warehouse is in the works. Weng emphasized that product is already on the water and that Aberdeen will be able to ship almost immediately after Market.

Formerly at Center Point, Aberdeen will exhibit in the IHFC's Main Wing, space M913.
