Corsicana, Glideaway Sleep Products Debut
For Corsicana, strong, sustained growth since it's founding in Texas in 1971 culminates with the move to the IHFC, where the company expects to welcome buyers with its product line and capabilities.
Over the years the company has added manufacturing facilities in Tennessee and North Carolina to serve its ever-widening customer base. With its vast mattress line, including bunkies, sleepers, Visco memory foam and a variety constructions and sizes, Corsicana can satisfy virtually any retail, contract or hospitality customer. What's more, the company maintains its own fleet of trucks, which further shortens an already impressive delivery schedule. “We are excited about the move that the IHFC has made to bring the bedding industry to High Point,” said Pat Lawrence, Corsicana's National Sales Manager.
Known in the past for frames and center support systems, as well as value-priced memory foam mattresses, Glideaway Sleep Products is currently engaged in major additions to its line. "We are launching the Sleep Harmony brand," said Lucy Tournas, Director of Marketing, "which is more of a luxury brand with higher quality, higher density foam and luxury details. We're also re-launching a new pillow line with extensions that include fiber, feather and down, memory foam and latex, contour shape and pillows compatible with sleep devices. Our new push is really holistic…something for everyone."
Tournas said the new brand re-imaging and product development was the motivation for the company's move to the IHFC. "We're making significant changes to our line and felt we needed the high exposure that the IHFC provides. It's a good match for us."
"We have made a conscious effort to be the destination for buyers in the bedding category," said Tom Mitchell, President and CEO at the IHFC. "The addition of Corsicana and Glideaway Sleep Products to our list of bedding exhibitors absolutely contributes to that goal. We're pleased to have them at the IHFC.
